Dr. Richard Nejat*
Dr. Nejat was born in Cambridge, Maryland, and moved to New Jersey in 1975. He attended college at Drew University and continued his education at New York University where he attained his doctorate of dental surgery and graduated in the top of his class receiving the prestigious OKU honors. Following graduation, Dr. Nejat began a three-year residency in Periodontics and Dental Implants.
Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Nejat earned his certificate in Periodontics from Stony Brook University - State University of New York. Dr. Nejat has extensive research experience and has published and presented his findings in a number of papers and presentations. In addition, Dr. Nejat and Dr. Aldredge have been involved with numerous clinical trials for new therapies in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Nejat is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Implant Dentistry Division of Reconstructive and Comprehensive Care at New York University in New York City.
As one of the few Board Certified Periodontists in the area, you can be assured that you will receive only the highest level of periodontal treatment.
